woke up at 710, took half an hr to wake up and get ready... then rushed off.
My shoes keep dropping out as i ran along the road to10F to find George's car. I found it quite funny haha.
Well, there was this person driving the same car as him. I started smiling to the car and laughing at my shoe, then i realised it wasn't him!!!

So how... do i write a course evaluation when i missed a grand total of 8 lessons and there were only 10 lessons in total? omg

Through the course, and especially the postmodern assignment, I was able to look at all media articles and texts with discretion and I also learnt how to analyze them critically. The debate over modern and postmodern discourses also interests me as it makes me wonder if originality exists or ever actually existed. After studying various texts and movies for the project, I realized that things do progress, but in circles. The new is reminiscent of the old and the old is a part of the future.

Apart from the last major assignment, the course content that I went through was just as useful to me. The study of the body as a type of media text itself is as real as it can get. The different archetypes and icons used in the industry are so strongly developed that they represent various schools of thinking, specific eras in time and describe cultures on its own. Studying the meaning and what entails with being part of the ‘others’ or being in the norm was also interesting, as was the realization that ‘otherness’ defined the norm.

a walk around the house of advice!

First, i stepped into the bathroom...
i was greeted with a sign... with a heart shape and a walking 'R' Alphabet...

it read:live with bare necessity => good future ahead (with a walking heart shape)
Thanks to this paper, every morning, the Bare Necessity song from the Jungle Book will never fail to ring in my head as i brush my teeth.
But most of the time i just try to understand why the letter 'R' has legs and where is it running to.

then i proceeded to the fridge. check out the cool inscriptions!
hmm... seems like the author is more apt at writing chinese.!
.amongst the million articles with circles and highlights that shout out "MUST READ!, decorated by mismatching magnets is a piece of wise advice!

then i had to go to the study room to off the lights... But... i saw a white paper below the switches. What was it??
Under the light switches in the study room,
there was a pain rating scale protected nicely in plastic pocket. Rate the pain from 0-10 in ur own home! very useful indeed. I'll go to my sister one day and say! " i burnt my finger and i feel a level 5 pain!" then my face will be like that gloomy face beside the number. As why is it in the study room? well, I guess it was placed there cos we keep plasters in that room?

Hmmm... then thoughts of the pain rating scale ceased to haunt me i read: Enjoy process of life :D on the fridge door again.

I wondered why was there something placed on a papaya wrapped in newspaper... oh... chey!! nth much.... it was just a note from the papaya saying:

"CHECK ME. RIPE on 24/1/2010" (apparantly this kan cheong papaya was afraid that no one would notice it when it was ripe) Im still thinking about whether to apologise to it because its already 2 days past the date it mentioned.

hmmmm..well.. thanks for the info :)

after a while, i teased my mum: 那個papaya會寫字的！ she replied：“Ya La 因為他好像little prince這樣，有love的。所以他要remind我”

<side note: as i was laughing innocently at this sign, the actual creator of it came over to me and asked me why i was laughing. she thought for a while and then she asked me: "你是不是想歪？“
-__- !!!! was the face i gave.
but then after a while, i realised.... oh no... maybe the papaya was actually really being suggestive....!
